ChatGPT—ever heard of it? After taking conversational AI mainstream in late 2022, ChatGPT is officially the darling of the AI chatbot world.

Developed by OpenAI, ChatGPT provides a conversational model that can create human-like text based on prompts. Like most AI chat assistants, with ChatGPT you can spin up copy for blogs and other marketing channels, but there are two major things to keep in mind:

ChatGPT isn't tailored for business use cases

ChatGPT can be used for everything from meal planning to vacation itineraries. And, yes, you can generate content with ChatGPT, but it's important to remember that its LLM isn't tailored specifically for business use cases the way other AI platforms like Jasper are.

This means that the content output you get from ChatGPT will be much more generic than the output you get from a tool like Jasper that pulls from information you choose to share about your brand, products, and features.

ChatGPT only uses OpenAI's AI models

At this point, there are several high-quality LLMs on the market and tools like Jasper pull from each of them to make sure users are accessing the best model at any given moment. Naturally, ChatGPT only runs on OpenAI's models which can be a bit limiting with output quality and can lead to you experiencing lots of down time when the site is overwhelmed.

ChatGPT Cons:

• ChatGPT relies largely on data to create responses, which means its responses are not always accurate or reliable.

3. Chatsonic by Writesonic

Chatsonic was developed by Writesonic in early 2023 and is an AI chatbot that can help users automate their writing process. This conversational AI tool is powered by Open AI's GPT-3.5 to help users write blog content and marketing copy. Two unique benefits of Chatsonic is that it allows users to generate images to include in their writing, as well as a voice-to-text feature.

Chatsonic Reddit Review:

According to this reddit discussion comparing ChatGPT vs Chatsonic, Chatsonic performs well for writing but falls short with anything programming-related. There were also several users complaining about the consistency of outputs, making it one of the weaker AI chatbots on the market.

Here are some pros and cons, gathered from the reddit discussion:

ChatSonic Pros:

• Capable of reading source material and giving outputs based on that
• Slightly better than ChatGPT at math problems

ChatSonic Cons:

• Knowledge base isn’t as robust as ChatGPT, making outputs inaccurate

Similar to Chatsonic, Copy AI's Chat allows users to chat with AI to request help with creating:

The only thing keeping me from considering this chatbot a full-blown marketing assistant is that when Copy AI is compared to Jasper, it still lacks the ability to pull in your team's brand and product information into its chat outputs.

I didn't find any Zapier AI chatbot reviews on Reddit, but I did find one user who had some trouble getting it to work before finally seeing some success. Some words from the wise:

"I found that the only model that would reliably work was gpt 3 or 4; the 16k one rarely worked. Further, anytime I tried to send through data more then a few thousand tokens, it would crash. So the “data” add function was basically useless because the token max just wouldn’t work. Lots of tweaking later I got the directive and prompt to be enough information to do as I wanted."

2. Botsonic by Writesonic

Botsonic AI chatbot builder is not your regular AI bot platform. Yes, it's powered by GPT-4 list most others on this list, but this AI chat can really up your customer service chatbot game by acting as a single source of truth for all your customer interactions providing a dynamic user experience.
